Il vino della vendemmia 1965 è stato distillato alla fine del 1965. L'invecchiamento è iniziato nella primavera del 1966. 37 anni di invecchiamento in botti di rovere francese del Limosino e una piccola quantità in botti di rovere nazionale riempite di vino di Porto.
Topazio intenso. Aspetto chiaro.
Vellutato, raffinato e aromatico, confermando le sensazioni avvertite attraverso l'olfatto diretto, che perdurano ben oltre il momento dell'assaggio.
Ricco, intenso e complesso, con note vanigliate di cocco immediatamente evidenti, provenienti dal legno di quercia dove è stato invecchiato, leggere note affumicate, dolci sfumature lattiginose e sottili sfumature di frutta secca.
