Vinhos Barbeito è stata fondata nel 1946 da Mário Barbeito de Vasconcelos. Con questo Madeira DOP abbiamo iniziato, nel 2017, un'altra avventura nel nostro già lungo viaggio nel fare vino. Prepariamo i nostri vigneti di Verdelho situati a Raposeira (costa sud) e ne riqualifichiamo altri situati a Seixal (costa nord) per produrre uve con il carattere ideale per un vino fermo. Questa Riserva è il risultato della miscela di Verdelho da Raposeira con il 9% di Sercial do Seixal, che invecchia per un anno in botti usate francesi e ungheresi.
