Il Pacheca Porto Lágrima è ottenuto da uve delle varietà Malvasia Fina, Códega, Gouveio, Viosinho e Rabigato in uno stato avanzato di maturazione. Le uve sono sottoposte a una forte macerazione a freddo delle bucce prima della pressatura e della fermentazione che avviene secondo l'antica tradizione di produzione del Vino di Porto.
