Dal 1952, Casa Ferreirinha, le cui origini risalgono al 1751, garantisce la produzione di vini Douro con la stessa filosofia di produzione e qualità dei vini di Porto. Il nome Quinta da Leda è strettamente riservata ai vini che, provenienti esclusivamente da uve prodotte in quella proprietà, vicino alla foce del fiume Côa, presentano la massima qualità in tutte le loro caratteristiche organolettiche e rivelano la capacità di evolversi in bottiglia. Colore rosso intenso con sfumature violacee. Profumo di grande intensità e ricchezza, che evidenzia confettura, frutti rossi molto maturi, resina, balsamico e spezie. Il legno nobile di quercia ha fornito grande complessità durante il suo periodo di maturazione. Finale molto lungo, delicato e di lunga persistenza.
