Il 2015 è stato un anno benedetto e da sogno, con condizioni meteorologiche favorevoli dalla primavera alla raccolta. Ogni fase si è svolta in condizioni ottimali: fioritura uniforme, poi la pioggia necessaria allo sviluppo della pianta prima di giugno e luglio molto secchi. Il pittore ha funzionato perfettamente. L'uva cominciò a maturare molto presto. Il mese di agosto, con le sue piogge puntuali e le temperature miti, ha permesso alle viti di svilupparsi bene e alle uve di maturare armoniosamente. Le giornate e le notti fresche di settembre, accompagnate da qualche acquazzone, hanno contribuito alla maturazione dei tannini. Le uve erano semplicemente magnifiche, un momento raro e sublime. La perfetta sanità del vigneto e le condizioni climatiche Ci hanno permesso di raccogliere l'uva in loco per quasi un mese! Gli Angélus Merlot sono stati vendemmiati a partire dal 22 settembre, maturi ma non troppo maturi, croccanti, fruttati e molto freschi. Il 2015 è un'ottima vendemmia ad Angélus. Eccellente per il suo sottile equilibrio tra potenza e raffinatezza: aromi intensi di frutta matura e croccante, un attacco morbido e diretto, tannini decisi e vellutati e grande purezza. Ritroviamo il fascino di una vendemmia solare, con un tocco di stravagante classicità barocca, si potrebbe dire, in armonia con l'eleganza e la razza fornite dalla freschezza e dalla tensione del finale persistente.
