È importante sottolineare che questo nuovo monocépage Loureiro nasce come un'evoluzione del progetto sociale Germinar, promosso da Soalheiro in collaborazione con un viticoltore di professione e assistente sociale di formazione che fa parte del Club dei Produttori e ha le sue vigne ai piedi occidentali del Monte do Faro a Valença, applicando tutte le sue conoscenze nella vigna ma anche nell'integrazione di persone con difficoltà cognitive nel lavoro in vigna al fine di promuovere la loro autostima e il loro sviluppo professionale. Il Germinar è fatto con uve Loureiro provenienti da una vigna di oltre 30 anni piantata ai piedi occidentali del Monte de Faro a Valença, sulla riva sinistra del fiume Minho, un territorio d'elezione per il vitigno Loureiro dove l'influenza atlantica si fa sentire marcando la mineralità del vino e permettendo di rivelare i delicati aromi floreali del vitigno.
