Quinta dos Bons Ares si trova nel Douro Superior, nel comune di Vila Nova de Foz Côa, in un terroir molto specifico, dove il terreno granitico e la sua altitudine conferiscono alle uve un'acidità e un potenziale aromatico insoliti in questa regione. Oltre a queste caratteristiche, l'altra particolarità di questo vino è il connubio tra Nuovo e Vecchio Mondo, tra vitigni tradizionali (Touriga-Nacional e Touriga-Franca) e internazionali come il Cabernet Sauvignon e tra i mulini di granito e i robot in acciaio inossidabile. Casa Ramos Pinto ha in questo vino un esempio di tradizione innovativa. Un classico moderno.
Granato di media intensità, pulito, luminoso
Tannini eleganti e molto morbidi, setosi, affinati nel lungo processo di maturazione in legno, segnano la struttura di questo 2015, maturo, coinvolgente e di grande complessità.
Al naso spicca l'aroma di humus (sous-bois) caratteristico dei nostri rossi Bons Ares, con note di cacao e pepe nero.
