Il simbolo della tenuta e della regione è il suo palazzo, una grandiosa costruzione in stile neoclassico, della fine del XIX secolo (1806). D. Hermínia Paes ha presieduto al destino di questa magnifica proprietà ed è stata la grande artefice del suo successo.Ottenuto dalla distillazione dei "bagaços" della varietà Alvarinho.
