All'inizio del XX secolo, quando acquistò la Quinta do Piloto, Humberto da Silva Cardoso riservò per sé 10 piccole botti da 50 litri che riempì con i più fini moscatelli delle sue tenute. Da allora, questo moscatello è stato conservato all'ombra della cantina della Quinta do Piloto, riservato solo alla famiglia. Anno dopo anno, quattro generazioni hanno seguito il rituale di riempire ogni botte con il meglio di ogni vendemmia. Così nacque questo moscatello prezioso e raro, che fa assaporare un secolo di dedizione di una famiglia storica di Palmela.
