Moscatel Favaios 10 Anni è un vino blend in cui vengono utilizzate solo le migliori vendemmie di Moscatel. Nelle annate in cui la natura permette le condizioni affinché il vitigno Moscatel si esprima in tutto il suo splendore, alcune fermentazioni vengono effettuate con un'accurata selezione delle uve. La fermentazione dura circa tre giorni con intensa macerazione sulle bucce e temperatura controllata di 15-16°C. Alle uve e al mosto viene poi aggiunta l'acquavite di vino, interrompendo la fermentazione per ottenere un vino dall'elevata gradazione alcolica e zuccherina residua. La macerazione in presenza di spirito prosegue per altri 5-6 giorni, sempre a bassa temperatura. Dopo la pressatura, il vino inizia un processo di invecchiamento in tini di legno per diversi anni, migliorando l'integrazione del distillato con il vino e migliorandone il bouquet. Durante l'affinamento in legno vengono scelti i vini che comporranno la partita Favaios 10 Anni, mescolando le vendemmie più vecchie con quelle più giovani, rendendo il vino più ricco, intenso e complesso.
Pieno di intensità, con un'eccellente acidità che gli conferisce un equilibrio untuoso e lungo.
