Quinta dos Carvalhais Único è, come suggerisce il nome, un vino unico, un Dão rosso di eccezionale qualità, massimo esponente dell'eleganza e della ricchezza di questo marchio. Erede di antiche conoscenze, Quinta dos Carvalhais combina esperienza e innovazione per creare vini molto eleganti, con sapori intensamente delicati e la personalità unica della regione. Le uve sono state raccolte per varietà e appezzamento in cassette da 20 kg e vinificate separatamente in tini di acciaio inossidabile. La fermentazione alcolica si è svolta in circa 8 giorni, ad una temperatura media di 28º C, con Touriga Nacional e Alfrocheiro rimasti in macerazione post-fermentativa per altri 8 giorni. Dopo la fermentazione alcolica, si è svolta la fermentazione malolattica in vasche di acciaio inox. Questo vino è invecchiato e maturato in botti di rovere francese nuove e usate per 18 mesi. Durante la fase di maturazione sono stati effettuati numerosi test per monitorare l'evoluzione dei diversi vini. Il vino è stato sottoposto ad una leggera chiarifica e filtrazione prima dell'imbottigliamento. Per preservarne la massima qualità è stato imbottigliato senza trattamento di stabilizzazione a freddo.

Ha un attacco deciso e definito, con tannino levigato, in un corpo fresco, elegante e avvolgente. In bocca si conferma la complessità aromatica, completata da alcuni tocchi floreali che perdurano in un finale voluminoso, delicato, lungo e persistente.
Note di frutta nera e frutti di bosco, sfumature resinose, aromi di bosco, muschio, pino, sous-bois e un tocco mentolato molto fresco
