In bocca, il vino presenta tannini meravigliosamente maturi, che si integrano perfettamente nella parte centrale del palato, fornendo struttura e volume, che chiudono con una presa salda. Il palato si chiude con una potente ondata di frutti freschi e complessi che scorrono all'infinito nel lungo finale. Nel 2018, i tratti caratteristici di Taylor, frutto pregiato e potenza interiore, si combinano perfettamente con la maturità e la profondità tipiche dell'anno.
Una potente esplosione di frutti di bosco e una densa coulis di more e ribes dominano il naso. Gli aromi di frutta nera sono infusi con discrete note di ciliegia e moka. Come ci si aspetterebbe da Taylor's, il frutto è molto fine e concentrato, ma l'anno sembra avergli conferito un ulteriore strato di densità e volume. Un velo familiare di profumo di viola incombe sul vino, insieme a una fragranza di petali di rosa e aromi di erbe selvatiche e menta.
