Rarità!!! L'odore occupa immediatamente tutta la stanza. Senza nitidezza. Il più dolce degli adulatore si alza nel naso. Ricorda i vini del sud, Marsala. Dietro di lui, molto lontano in fondo, ma riconoscibile, qualcosa di acido, cuoio. Dopo un po', le arance succose sono in primo piano, speziate con chiodi di garofano. Non voglio bere, ma inalare. Tutto sembra perfettamente armonioso e rotondo, ma pieno di carattere. Una sensazione in bocca cremosa e abbastanza leggera. Note di vino dolce e cioccolato fondente sono in competizione. Ma l'amaro è contenuto, è quasi nella direzione del latte intero. I frutti rossi secchi tipici dello sherry sono presenti anche: uvetta, prugne, datteri dolci. E poi arriva il rovere. La finitura è più scura e acida rispetto all'impressione in bocca. Il rovere e l'amarezza diventano più forti. Si aggiungono leggere note di caffè espresso. Il finale è abbastanza lungo e rivela l'età del whisky. La lingua si attacca al palato e richiede altro."
