L'acquavite Mosca è stata creata nel 1937 come Aguardente Moscatel Bagaceira e ha vissuto fino alla metà degli anni '80. È stata, nel corso della sua storia, una delle acquaviti più famose e prestigiose. Con invecchiamento in botti di legno vecchio utilizzate per l'invecchiamento del Moscatel, il rilancio di questa acquavite intende recuperare e preservare una tradizione antica della José Maria da Fonseca nel campo delle acquaviti speciali. L'obiettivo è presentare un'acquavite diversa e tornare a essere un riferimento.
