Le uve per questo vino provengono principalmente da Vale de Mendiz, nel cuore del Cima Corgo. La vinificazione è stata effettuata alla vecchia maniera. Le uve sono state pigiate a piedi e fermentate in lagares e l'invecchiamento è avvenuto nelle nostre cantine fredde di Vila Nova de Gaia in grandi botti di legno vecchio.
