I toni verdognoli del colore dimostrano che si tratta di un vino molto invecchiato. L'aroma ci porta note balsamiche e anche note di frutta secca e spezie, ma il tutto in un tono austero che gli si addice molto bene. Molto glicerinato in bocca, è un Porto coinvolgente, molto concentrato e ricco che lascia una scia lunghissima, prolungando il piacere della degustazione.
