Situata nel Douro Superiore, Quinta da Sequeira ha una tradizione nella produzione vinicola che risale al 1899. Ottenuto da uve di varie varietà, il vino passa attraverso un processo di vinificazione in botti nuove di rovere francese, con un rigoroso controllo della temperatura, per preservare tutto il caratteristiche delle varietà utilizzate. Successivamente matura per altri sei mesi in botti, ottenendo un vino limpido e agrumato, dal naso fruttato, complesse sfumature di legno e pane tostato. Ha un corpo generoso, un'acidità equilibrata e un retrogusto notevolmente lungo e persistente. Si consiglia di servire ad una temperatura di circa 9º C.
