Colore porpora opaco, quasi nero, con un alone violaceo molto stretto. Naso classico, con un profumo intenso, quasi inebriante, di frutti di bosco. Il fruttato è potente, ma allo stesso tempo molto fine e complesso. Gli aromi densi di mora e cassis sono le note di fondo delle fragranze mentolate e balsamiche delle erbe aromatiche e del carattere resinoso del cisto. Note discrete di legno esotico, liquirizia e pepe nero aggiungono un'ulteriore dimensione di complessità. Il palato è costruito attorno a un nucleo denso di frutti neri e i tannini, con il loro tessuto denso e chiuso, conferiscono struttura e volume allo stesso tempo. Gli aromi di lampone e prugna aggiungono freschezza e leggerezza al finale lungo e lussureggiante.
