Così come la figura che lo ispira, Aeternus è un vino raro per la sua storia. Nasce nella migliore vigna piantata nei terrazzamenti della Quinta Nova di Nossa Senhora do Carmo, una vigna centenaria di 2,5 ettari, producendo 0,4 kg per pianta, con esposizione solare a sud-ovest e una densità di piantagione di circa 6000 piante per ettaro. Aeternus è un omaggio a un'opera eterna, a un uomo che amava la terra, la famiglia, il lavoro. Américo Amorim è stato un uomo con un'intuizione rara e unica per il business, che ha iniziato la sua carriera professionale a 18 anni nell'azienda di famiglia della sughero e non ha mai smesso di lottare per i suoi ideali, elevando il settore del sughero alla leadership mondiale, creando nel corso di sei decenni un gruppo imprenditoriale con uno status grandioso in Portogallo e nel Mondo.
