Il vigneto Maria Teresa è un vigneto secolare, che prende il nome dalla prima nipote del fondatore di Quinta do Crasto, Constantino de Almeida. Un vigneto dal terroir unico in cui l'incomparabile diversità dei vitigni, l'esposizione ad est e i bassi livelli di produzione permettono la creazione di un vino unico, dalla concentrazione e complessità eccezionali.
Dopo una rigorosa selezione, le uve vengono pigiate nelle tradizionali presse di granito, per essere trasferite in tini di acciaio inox dove termina la fermentazione alcolica, seguita da un periodo di affinamento di 20 mesi in botti di rovere da 225 litri.
Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa trarrà beneficio dall'invecchiamento in bottiglia e dovrebbe essere decantato prima di servire.
