È sulle altitudini di Medrões, nel Douro, che 5 generazioni fa è nata la famiglia Alves de Sousa per il vino. Lontano dal caldo... All'ombra della Serra do Marão. Fu su questi pendii che agli inizi degli anni '90 venne dato un nuovo sguardo ai vitigni a bacca bianca, cominciando a delineare quello che sarebbero diventati i nostri bianchi. E scoprire nuove sfaccettature di una regione molto ricca e diversificata: un Douro delicato ed elegante, dalle terre più alte e fresche, con vitigni autoctoni meticolosamente combinati e lavorati, ricchi di mineralità e complessità. È stato nelle radici familiari che abbiamo trovato il luogo di nascita di una nuova persona bianca.
