Nel 1988 ho piantato un ettaro di vigneto, della varietà Baga, come si usava alla fine del 1800 prima della disastrosa invasione della FILOSSERA. Questo parassita devastò i vigneti d'Europa e da allora le viti iniziarono ad essere innestate su viti americane, non più piantate a Pé Franco. Il vigneto si trova su terreno sabbioso, in quanto nei vigneti con questo tipo di terreno il parassita non si sviluppa. Il risultato mi piacque così tanto che 10 anni dopo aggiunsi un altro ettaro e mezzo. È con questo vino che cerco di dimostrare che i vini prima di tale devastazione, anche se prodotti nel modo attuale, sono diversi, più concentrati, con un carattere varietale più pronunciato. Della vendemmia 2015 sono state prodotte 2366 bottiglie da 750 ml, 50 bottiglie da 1,5 l e 50 bottiglie da 3 l.
