Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin è realizzato con una selezione di prodotti botanici esotici, raccolti a mano e accuratamente selezionati dal suo mastro distillatore, Joanne Moore. In predominanza troviamo: semi di coriandolo (Marocco), che forniscono note agrumate e vivaci, pepe Cubeba (Indonesia), che si combina con il ginepro e aggiunge note di canfora e mentolo e pepe nero Tellicherry (India), responsabile del retrogusto pepato. Gli elementi botanici di Opihr gin terminano il loro viaggio nella più antica distilleria d'Inghilterra, dove gin di qualità viene tradizionalmente distillato, utilizzando lo stesso metodo del London Dry Gin, dal 1761. Qui le piante vengono combinate con alcol inglese per produrre un gin esotico e speziato orientale .
La morbida canfora, una certa dolcezza e le spezie orientali creano in bocca una sensazione calda e persistente, che però non aumenta di intensità.
Sfumature intense e audaci di spezie orientali, note profumate morbide e setose e una nota di fondo calda, terrosa e speziata ben armonizzata con una vivace esplosione di agrumi dalle spezie e dalle scorze di frutta.
