Complesso ed elegante, il Casa Ferreirinha Antónia Adelaide Ferreira Tinto 2014 è un'edizione limitata di grande qualità, prodotta in omaggio a Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira. Giunte alla cantina della Quinta da Leda e Quinta do Seixo, dopo una leggera pigiatura e diraspatura totale, le uve hanno fermentato in vasche di acciaio inox a temperatura controllata. Durante questa fermentazione, sono state effettuate rimontaggi per pompa e pigiatura con robot, realizzando una lunga macerazione per ottenere un'equilibrata estrazione aromatica e polifenolica. Si intende con questa tecnologia che i costituenti di qualità presenti nelle bucce delle uve mature passino così dolcemente nel vino. Alla fine, e nel momento "richiesto" da ogni varietà/lotto, il vino è stato travasato e le sue masse pressate, con il vino risultante dalla pressatura conservato a parte da quello di lacrima.
