Crescita classificata del 1855 a Pauillac, il castello d'Armailhac è stato creato dalla famiglia d'Armailhacq nel XVIII secolo. Acquistato dal barone Philippe de Rothschild nel 1933, appartiene oggi ai suoi discendenti. Il vigneto, coltivato con varietà tipiche bordolesi, produce un vino complesso, elegante e semplice che unisce tutti gli aspetti di una denominazione prestigiosa. L'etichetta mostra una figura di Bacco del XVII secolo realizzata in vetro filato, esposta al Museo del Vino nell'Arte dello Château Mouton.
