El Sandeman Porto Tawny 20 Años se produce mediante el método tradicional del Vino de Oporto. Las uvas seleccionadas pasan por despalillado y estrujado antes de la fermentación, bajo temperatura controlada, con maceración de la piel para extraer los mejores componentes. La adición de alcohol vínico en el momento ideal establece el equilibrio entre el cuerpo y el bouquet del vino. Este momento es elegido por el enólogo, siguiendo un riguroso control de temperaturas y densidades de fermentación, dependiendo de la variedad de uva, etapa de maduración y dulzura final deseada.
