Porto Ferreira Dona Antónia Tawny 20 Años es un Vino de Oporto excepcional, símbolo de la excelencia del estilo de la marca Ferreira en la creación de Vinos de Oporto añejos y leonados. Su perfil clásico, de gran elegancia y complejidad pero con gran frescura, es único, siendo uno de los vinos más reconocidos y celebrados del mundo. Las uvas cosechadas a mano fueron vinificadas según el método tradicional del Vino de Oporto. La fermentación controlada de los mostos se realizó en tinas de acero inoxidable y se detuvo mediante la adición de aguardiente de vino. Los vinos resultaron muy elegantes y con gran potencial de guarda. Los vinos que componen la tanda final de este Port Ferreira Dona Antónia Tawny 20 Años permanecen en el Duero hasta ser transportados a las bodegas Ferreira en V.N.Gaia la primavera siguiente, entrando en la crianza tradicional. esquema de Vino de Oporto, en barricas de roble, al estilo Porto Ferreira. Durante este período, el vino es sometido a numerosos trasiegos, análisis y catas, que le permiten controlar su envejecimiento, y realizar ensamblajes, refrescos y correcciones cuando la cata lo determine. El lote final se obtiene utilizando vinos con edades comprendidas entre 15 y 40 años, para obtener siempre la edad media, tipo, calidad y estilo de Porto Ferreira Dona Antónia Tawny 20 Años.

Es un vino con cuerpo, delicado, suave, aterciopelado y con buena persistencia. Revela un frescor marcado y muy equilibrado, resultado de refrescos con vinos más jóvenes, realizados a lo largo de su maduración. El final es fino, elegante y persistente.
