Fue en las alturas de Medrões, en el Duero, donde nació la familia Alves de Sousa por el vino hace 5 generaciones. Lejos del calor... A la sombra de la Serra do Marão. Fue en estas laderas donde a principios de los años 90 se dio una nueva mirada a las variedades de uva blanca, comenzando a perfilarse lo que serían nuestros blancos. Y descubrir nuevas facetas de una región muy rica y diversa, un Duero delicado y elegante, de las tierras más altas y frescas, con variedades de uva autóctonas meticulosamente combinadas y trabajadas, llenas de mineralidad y complejidad. Fue en las raíces familiares donde encontramos el lugar de nacimiento de una nueva persona blanca.
