Se trata de un vino de Madeira muy antiguo, clasificado como "frasqueira", que formaba parte de la colección de vinos de la familia propietaria de esta empresa vitivinícola. Se elabora a partir de la variedad Boal, variedad de uva noble, en años de gran calidad y excelente cosecha, utilizando uvas procedentes de los mejores viñedos de la isla de Madeira. Antes del embotellado, se benefició de un largo período de crianza en barricas viejas de roble, a la temperatura recomendada en las naves de esta empresa centenaria. De esta manera, consiguió convertirse en un vino de Madeira característico, resultado de la variedad de uva con la que se elabora, con estructura de calidad, aroma y sabor con mucho cuerpo. Permítanos recordarle que es importante dejar respirar el vino durante un tiempo después de abrirlo, para que desarrolle toda su plenitud de aromas.
