Viticultura: Un terroir único en el mundo, en medio del océano Atlántico, en la base de la montaña volcánica del Pico, las vides están plantadas en las fisuras de la roca, junto al mar, donde se oye el “cantar del cangrejo”, pues aquí hay más sol y calor. Una proximidad de, a veces, escasos metros que obliga a la protección de la viña por muros (currais), de los vientos fuertes y salinos del Atlántico. Vinificación del Arinto de Azores de António Maçanita: Vendimia manual selectiva en cestos de 20Kg, prensado de racimo entero, trasiego después de 12h a cubas de fermentación horizontales de 600-1000L. Estagio: 10 meses sobre lías finas.
