Krohn Colheita 1983 Los Vinos de Oporto Colheita son probablemente los Vinos de Oporto más apreciados y reconocidos de Krohn. Los Oportos del tipo Colheita provienen de un solo año de alta calidad, debiendo pasar un mínimo de siete años en madera. Por regla general, solo se embotellan inmediatamente antes de ser vendidos, lo que puede suceder mucho después del séptimo año. Por esta razón, nuestras Colheitas permanecen en madera durante un largo período, y adquieren a lo largo del tiempo un color de caoba característico de los vinos viejos, así como un bouquet fino y complejo, notas de nueces y avellanas y una textura sedosa. Durante el envejecimiento en madera están sujetos al control cualitativo del Instituto de los Vinos del Duero y Oporto. Por otro lado, después de embotellados deben indicar en la etiqueta el año de producción y el año de embotellado. El riesgo de formar sedimento en el fondo de la botella es pequeño, ya que este quedó retenido, en su mayor parte, en el recipiente de madera donde el vino envejeció. Después de abrir la botella, no es obligatorio beberla en su totalidad el mismo día – basta con taparla bien, pudiendo ser mantenida durante mucho tiempo en esas condiciones. En una próxima vez que sea reabierta, ofrecerá al consumidor un aroma y sabor de delicadeza prácticamente intacta.
