El vino tenía una nariz fabulosamente ahumada, cassis, cereza negra y pimienta. Tras treinta minutos en copa, afloran notas de tarta de frutas y aromas más evolucionados. Este oporto es tan concentrado que resulta increíble, con un equilibrio extraordinario y, al igual que sus dos hermanos, alcohol y taninos bien integrados. La impresión es de una sensación en boca sedosa, jugosa, con una textura voluptuosa, repleta de un oporto excepcionalmente extraído. Esta es una leyenda en ciernes.
