Las uvas para este vino provienen mayoritariamente de Vale de Mendiz, en el corazón del Cima Corgo. La vinificación se realizó a la manera antigua. Las uvas fueron pisadas a pie y fermentadas en lagares, y el envejecimiento tuvo lugar en nuestras bodegas frías de Vila Nova de Gaia en grandes cubas de madera vieja.
