Porto Ferreira Dona Antónia Tawny 20 Años es un Vino de Oporto excepcional, símbolo de la excelencia del estilo de la marca Ferreira en la creación de Vinos de Oporto tawny viejos. Su perfil clásico, de gran elegancia y complejidad pero con gran frescura, es único, siendo uno de los vinos más reconocidos y celebrados en el mundo. Las uvas recogidas a mano fueron vinificadas según el método tradicional de Vino de Oporto. La fermentación controlada de los mostos se realizó en cubas de acero inoxidable siendo detenida por la adición de aguardiente vínico. Los vinos eran muy elegantes y con gran potencial de envejecimiento. Los vinos que integran el lote final de este Porto Ferreira Dona Antónia Tawny 20 Años permanecen en el Duero hasta ser transportados a las bodegas Ferreira en V.N.Gaia en la primavera siguiente, entrando en el esquema de envejecimiento tradicional del Vino de Oporto, en barricas de roble, con el estilo Porto Ferreira. Durante este período, el vino es sometido a numerosas trasiegas, análisis y catas, que permiten acompañar su envejecimiento y actuar con lotes, refrescos y correcciones siempre que la cata lo determine. El lote final se obtiene utilizando vinos con edades comprendidas entre los 15 y los 40 años, de forma que se obtenga siempre con la edad media, el tipo, la calidad y el estilo del Porto Ferreira Dona Antónia Tawny 20 Años.
