La viticultura de precisión de 2017 dio como resultado la zonificación de varias áreas de cada una de las variedades de uva y de cada una de estas zonas, plantas en particular. Estas plantas y zonas de mayor concentración dan como resultado racimos con bayas más pequeñas, con mayor potencial de envejecimiento y que se recolectan manualmente en cajas para permanecer a 2ºC durante 2 días en cámara frigorífica.
Rojo oscuro, denso y opaco.
En cata presenta taninos punzantes, finos y crecientes con concentración a mitad de cata, frescor balsámico, carne, ciruelas, moras y arándanos, un final lleno de fuerza y mineral.
Nariz compleja e intensa hacia el final de la fermentación en barrica. Trufas, cedro, ligero yodo, aceitunas negras, cacao y una intensa mezcla de frutas negras y rojas e higos secos. Picante, con pimienta negra, tomillo y extensión mineral.
