O Inniskillin Gold Vidal Icewine, da região da Península de Niagara, Ontário, é um exemplar luxuoso elaborado com 100% uvas Vidal Blanc naturalmente congeladas. A fermentação prolongada em 90 % barricas novas de carvalho francês durante cerca de 14 semanas confere-lhe textura rica e complexidade aromática. Com teor alcoólico de apenas 9,5% e açúcar residual de 272 g/L — equilibrado por 10,5 g/L de acidez —, apresenta aromas intensos de pêssego, manga, damasco e toques de cravo e baunilha. No paladar, mostra-se viscoso e cremoso, mas com frescura suficiente para evitar enjoar, terminando num final longo e saboroso, com nuances cítricas e especiadas. Classificado com 94 pontos pelo Wine Advocate (Robert Parker) e 97 pontos pela Wine & Spirits, é um icewine de excelência, ideal para ser apreciado agora ou guardado para evoluir nos próximos anos.
