Un bouquet sucinto, nada potente, mucho más refinado y discreto, que poco a poco se va desplegando y revelando un sutil elemento marino. El paladar vuelve a ser muy discreto al principio y se desarrolla a un ritmo glacial. Es maravillosamente equilibrado, con taninos finos, bastante lineal y estructurado, que se desarrolla suavemente hasta un final que tiene una maravillosa salinidad (continuando con el tema marino). Nota: De hecho, volví a probar este vino varias horas después porque antes estaba muy cerrado y terminó abriéndose, lo cual es atípico para este Pomerol. Es un Petrus maravilloso, pero merecerá crianza en botella y decantación.
