El Quinta do Crasto 40 años es un vino de Oporto Tawny de edad, resultante del envejecimiento en barricas de roble portugués de aproximadamente 610 litros durante un período medio de 40 años. Hecho a partir de vinos de Oporto seleccionados con origen en las mejores viñas, este ensamblaje ofrece una gran complejidad proveniente de los vinos más viejos, mientras que los vinos más jóvenes aportan sabores de frutas frescas y acidez vibrante. Durante su largo período de envejecimiento, los Oportos Tawnies de edad sufren cambios sutiles de color, adquiriendo la tonalidad ámbar y transformando la fruta joven y rica en elegancia, mostrando una textura sedosa y sabores intensos y suaves que solo el tiempo puede ofrecer.
