El vino A de Arinto fue producido a partir de una única variedad, Arinto. La maduración de las uvas fue lenta y bastante equilibrada, siendo vendimiadas en la segunda semana de octubre, manteniendo la acidez deseada y una buena sanidad de las uvas. Tras una cuidadosa selección en la cinta para elegir, las uvas fueron ligeramente pisadas a pie, de forma que se rompió el grano y maceradas durante 12 horas con el racimo entero, siendo posteriormente prensadas directamente, sin decantación, en barricas usadas de roble francés de 225 y 228 litros donde fermentó naturalmente con las levaduras indígenas y envejeció, sin bâtonnage, en las mismas barricas durante 10 meses, sin trasiego y con las lías de la fermentación hasta el embotellado. Un vino con buen potencial de envejecimiento.

En la cata, entrada fuerte y mineral con predominancia cítrica y voluminoso. Cáscara de limón, cuerpo medio y final igualmente medio.
En nariz, ligera reducción, aromas de hierba seca, manzana y tostado ligero procedente de la barrica.
