El Pacheca Porto Lágrima se obtiene con uvas de las variedades Malvasia Fina, Códega, Gouveio, Viosinho y Rabigato en un avanzado grado de maduración. Las uvas se someten a una fuerte maceración en frío antes del prensado y fermentación, que se realiza según la antigua tradición de elaboración del Vino de Oporto.
