El Quinta dos Murças VV47 proviene de un viñedo histórico, el viñedo vertical más antiguo del Douro, plantado en 1947, con exposición sureste y una inclinación del 40%. Traduce la máxima expresión de nuestro terroir y su potencial, caracterizado por su elegancia, armonía y complejidad. Vinificación del Vino Quinta dos Murças VV47: Vendimia manual, mesa de selección, despalillado, estrujado, fermentación alcohólica con levaduras indígenas a temperaturas controladas (25º a 28ºC), en lagares de granito con pisado a pie y prensado en una antigua prensa vertical. Crianza: En barricas de roble francés usadas durante aproximadamente 12 meses.

De gran armonía y elegancia, destacan los taninos maduros muy finos y su acidez equilibrada. Presenta un final muy largo y persistente que, en conjunto, permite prever una gran longevidad.
Muy complejo e intenso, donde dominan los frutos rojos más maduros y los aromas balsámicos característicos de los viñedos más viejos.
