En la Quinta do Monte Xisto, los dos primeros meses del año fueron muy secos. En marzo, la lluvia llegó con fuerza, continuando más moderada en abril y mayo, intensificándose nuevamente en junio, lo que permitió reponer los niveles de agua en el suelo. En julio y agosto se produjo un aumento habitual de las temperaturas, seguido de un inicio de septiembre fresco. Fue un año bastante equilibrado, permitiendo un buen desarrollo de la vid. La vendimia comenzó el 7 de septiembre.
