Con un perfil aromático cercano al de los Bourbons, Toki es el más americano de los blends japoneses. Para esta creación, Shinji Fukuyo, el Chief Blender de la casa, utilizó whiskies de grano con más carácter y en mayor proporción. El blend se construye en torno a dos componentes principales: whiskies de grano de Chita, como era de esperar, pero también single malts de Hakushu envejecidos en barricas de roble blanco americano, es decir, barricas ex-Bourbon. La destilería Yamazaki también está presente con la selección de dos single malts: uno envejecido en barricas de Bourbon y el otro en barricas de roble español, los famosos barricas de sherry.
