Situada en Alenquer, la Quinta do Monte D Oiro es conocida desde el siglo XIX. XVII como lugar privilegiado para la elaboración de grandes vinos. El objetivo del productor José Bento dos Santos, conocido comunicador y promotor de la gastronomía y el vino, es producir vinos de alta calidad al estilo europeo, respetando el terroir existente, una combinación única de suelos y clima. En el viñedo Monte D'Oiro están plantadas las variedades de uva Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Petit Verdot y Viognier, con las que el productor ha elaborado algunos de los vinos más aclamados de Portugal y del mundo.
Impresionante por la limpieza y expresión de la fruta, de sabor austero, picante, con taninos satinados y un final muy largo, lleno de personalidad y distinción.
Fruta madura de gran calidad, cassis, ciruela negra, notas minerales y picantes, con enorme elegancia.
