A principios del siglo XX, cuando adquirió Quinta do Piloto, Humberto da Silva Cardoso se reservó 10 pequeñas barricas de 50 litros que llenó con el mejor moscatel de sus fincas. Desde entonces, este moscatel se almacena a la sombra. de la bodega de la Quinta do Piloto, reservada sólo para la familia. Año tras año, cuatro generaciones siguieron el ritual de llenar cada barrica con lo mejor de cada cosecha. Así nació este precioso y raro moscatel, que demuestra un siglo de dedicación de una histórica familia de Palmela.
Color topacio muy rico con matices verde oliva.
Se puede notar que estamos en presencia de un vino añejo y raro, con una concentración de azúcares que lo hace meloso, concentrado y denso, sin embargo, su acidez es vibrante, haciendo que su cata sea única.
Muy complejo y exuberante con notas de café, miel, frutos secos, tabaco y matices de cierta vegetación circundante.
