Moscatel Favaios 10 Años es un vino de mezcla en el que sólo se utilizan las mejores cosechas de Moscatel. En años en los que la naturaleza permite las condiciones para que la variedad Moscatel se exprese en todo su esplendor, se realizan algunas fermentaciones con una cuidadosa selección de uvas. La fermentación dura alrededor de tres días con maceración pelicular intensa y temperatura controlada de 15-16°C. A continuación se añade el aguardiente de vino a la uva y al mosto, interrumpiendo la fermentación para obtener un vino con una elevada graduación alcohólica y azúcar residual. La maceración en presencia de aguardiente se prolonga durante otros 5-6 días, siempre a baja temperatura. Tras el prensado, el vino inicia un proceso de crianza en tinas de madera durante varios años, mejorando la integración del aguardiente con el vino y mejorando su bouquet. Durante la crianza en madera se eligen los vinos que conformarán el lote Favaios 10 Años, mezclando cosechas más viejas con otras más jóvenes, haciendo que el vino sea más rico, intenso y complejo.
Lleno de intensidad, con una excelente acidez que le aporta un equilibrio untuoso y largo.
Aromas más propios de la variedad moscatel, como piel de naranja y aromas florales como naranja, tila y rosas.
