Morgado de Sta. Catherina es referencia de los vinos Arinto de la región de Bucelas, transportando la herencia secular de los grandes vinos blancos de la región. La historia del Morgado de Santa Catherina, en la que se incluía la Quinta da Romeira, se remonta a 1703, año en que fue instituido, cumpliendo las intenciones de D. Catarina de Bragança, reina consorte de Inglaterra. Vino procedente de uvas de la variedad Arinto, de los viñedos de la Quinta da Romeira, con vendimia manual. Los mostos fermentaron en cubas de acero inoxidable y en barricas de roble francés. Los porcentajes fueron convenientemente ajustados, para permitir que la madera quedara bien integrada, sin perjuicio de la frescura, los aromas y sabores característicos del Arinto. Durante los 8 meses de crianza en barricas de roble francés, se promovió la integración del vino con la madera, recurriendo a la battonage. Tras este período, se realizó el lote final, criándose en cuba de acero inoxidable hasta el embotellado.

Boca muy amplia, con volumen, en perfecto equilibrio con una acidez atlántica. Continúa aromático en boca, enmarcado por la crianza en barrica. Su final es persistente.
