Vinhos Barbeito fue fundada en 1946 por Mário Barbeito de Vasconcelos. Con esta DOP de Madeira comenzamos, en 2017, otra aventura en nuestro ya largo camino haciendo vino. Preparamos nuestros viñedos de Verdelho ubicados en Raposeira (costa sur) y recalificamos otros ubicados en Seixal (costa norte) para producir uvas con el carácter ideal para un vino tranquilo. Este Reserva resultó de la mezcla de Verdelho da Raposeira con un 9% de Sercial do Seixal, que envejeció durante un año en barricas usadas francesas y húngaras.
