El Ron Prohibido Habanero é um rum mexicano de blend que passa por um processo de envelhecimento de 12 anos, utilizando o sistema Solera em barricas que anteriormente contiveram xerez. Esse método confere ao rum um sabor singular, que combina notas doces e picantes características do xerez, além de toques de uva e melaço. O resultado é um rum adocicado, mas com nuances amargas bem definidas.A expressão "El Ron Prohibido" traduzida para o eslovaco significa "rum proibido" ou "rum ilegal". A destilação segue um método tradicional e ancestral do México, utilizando cana-de-açúcar como matéria-prima.
