El Quinta dos Murças Margem proviene de viñedos junto a la orilla del río Duero, donde se encuentran algunas de las parcelas más antiguas de la finca. Su baja altitud y la exposición solar mayoritariamente al sur originan uvas que alcanzan mayor concentración y maduración. Vinificación del Vino Quinta das Murças Margem Tinto: Vendimia manual, mesa de selección, despalillado, estrujado, fermentación alcohólica con levaduras indígenas a temperaturas controladas (25ºC a 28ºC) en lagares de granito con pisado a pie y prensado en una antigua prensa vertical. Crianza en barricas de 500 litros de roble francés usado, durante aproximadamente 9 meses.

Concentrado, presenta taninos muy maduros que, junto con una acidez bien integrada, le confieren una sensación de volumen, cuerpo y frescura. Posee un final muy largo y persistente, donde dominan los aromas de frutos más maduros, permitiendo prever una gran longevidad.
Muy intenso y exuberante, donde dominan los frutos negros maduros, como la mora y el grosellero negro, los aromas balsámicos, como la estepa, y notas suaves de especias, procedentes de la crianza en madera usada.
